Happy Homecoming Day, Walter!

On this date 4 years ago we brought Walter home to join our family.  While some refer to this as an adoption day or 'gotcha' day, I prefer the term homecoming day.  Indeed, Walter is home forever.

Homecoming

Today is the anniversary of Marvin's homecoming.  6 years ago on May 21st, which was also a Mon, Marvin joined our family and his name was then augmented to Marvin Parker.  Click here to read about his arrival and the reason for his name.

Homecoming day

Today is the 2nd anniversary of Walter's Homecoming Day!

Rather than 'adoption day' which sounds so legal and sterile, I prefer the term Homecoming Day as it is the day he came 'home' to us.

Walter remains an energetic, affectionate, wonderful dog and I couldn't love him more.  He's been a great brother and playmate for Marvin too.

So, to celebrate Walter's Homecoming Day anniversary, here are some adorable photos of him, at various ages, in no specific order.  (Cut to me gushing over my little love bug.)

Yesterday was 5th anniversary of Marvin's homecoming!  You can read about the day he joined our family HERE.

I prefer the term 'homecoming' over adoption day.  It just sounds nicer.

Marvin Parker is such a good boy, and I love him more than I can say.  So instead of using words, I'll share some great photos of him.
