One effort to reduce the amount of fuel we consume is to drive less. This doesn't mean you don't go where you need/want to go, but rather, it means thinking ahead and consolidating your trips. Just make one trip to the post office, grocery store, dry cleaners, and gas station, rather than a separate trip to each.
Another effort to reduce the amount of fuel we consume is to drive smaller, more fuel-efficient cars. Here's an example of one, the Smart Car.
Yes, that's Spouse standing next to the Smart Car, putting its size into perspective. Here's a Smart Car next to a Suburban.
But some have complained that Smart Cars are 'ugly'. Others would like Smart Cars that have a more 'sporty' look.
So, the makers of Smart Car are teaming up with some of the other auto manufacturers to introduce some alternative Smart models. Here's a look at some of them.
Here is the new Smartvette.

I choose Smark Lawson...
There are a ton of Smart Cars in Portland. I first saw them in Europe...in Dresden, Germany...when the guy wanted me to take one for a drive.. I should have.
damn u, cb.
I first saw them in the Netherlands and wondered what they were because I think they are cute. They'd be about right for me since I'm short.
Funny post! I'll choose the Smorche, I guess, if I can't have an orginal Smart Car.
I like a Smorche....or a s'more. I can't decide.
HAHAHAAHA!!! I think I'll take the Smartborghinni....or however you spell it!
They all look like toys, including the original. I'm afraid to drive one for fear some big truck will squish it.
lol my sister has a SMART car, they are sooooo awesome on gas! and they are cute! love'em, those other cars are pretty cool! i totally want a Smartborghini lol!!
Oh ,I would take the Smustang by all means! Of course I fell for this thinking it was for real post at first with these cars, till I got to the last pic! Us blondes!
CB took the words right out of my mouth! Egads! But the Smart Car has no front end to it. If you were to get into a front-end collision, it doesn't look like one would survive. However, the Smorche fits the bill! :-)
I love the Smorsche! Priceless! There are a few Smarts in Houston, but I would be scared to drive one since it's virtually imporssible to get around without using the freeways, and I just wouldn't feel safe in something so tiny up there!
I want to save my energy for my new Mark Lawson ride.
