There is a toilet paper disparity in our household. I prefer the soft, fluffy, quilted brand while Spouse prefers the not-so-soft, thin, tissue paper-like design.
Honestly, I can't see what he likes about that thin stuff. Its so thin it reminds me of the tissue paper you find inside a gift wrapped box. You can practically see through it. I'm always afraid it will tear due to its extreme thinness, allowing me to accidentally soil my hand, so I wind up using more of it than I normally would. Just the idea of that makes me shudder.
On the other hand, the soft, fluffy, quilted type gives me no such fright. I feel as if I use less of it than the thin stuff, and can do so with confidence. Plus, its so nice and soft. Its almost as if I'm caressing my bottom each time I use it. Who wouldn't love it?
So, how do we handle this toilet paper disparity, you may ask?
We buy whichever is on sale.
