We did it!!

Just after 5pm today, the Senate PASSED HB75 granting marriage equality to same-sex couples in Delaware!  Gov Jack Markell wasted no time and signed the legislation immediately.

Delaware is now the 11th state (plus the District of Columbia) to offer marriage equality.  Let's hope there are even more to come!

Of course we will remember who DIDN't vote for marriage equality. Specifically our senator and representative, both of whom represent the largest gay community in Delaware. They do not deserve our support and any gay man or woman who votes for them should be ashamed of themselves (and they know who they are).

Congratulations to you guys indeed! It's all happening so fast now. We here in New Hampshire are delighted that Delaware has joined the irresistible force that has proved the object is NOT immovable!
