'Tales of the Sissy' is a play on words related to Armistead Maupin's novel 'Tales of the City' which chronicles the daily lives of several seemingly unrelated people. Since my blog chronicles my daily life and I am gay (hence the stereotype 'sissy'), I decided to call my blog 'Tales of the Sissy'.
I have to comment again to say thank you for posting this. The day I found it I knew exactly who needed it. My dear friend Needed a laugh badly and the fact he is from Mexico I knew this would do it. He howled when I text it over to him and thanked me profusely for sending it his way. He said he went from tears of sadness to laughter so hard he was crying. He even contacted me again a few days later to thank me, so here I am thanking you. We never know who we touch when we post.
