'Tales of the Sissy' is a play on words related to Armistead Maupin's novel 'Tales of the City' which chronicles the daily lives of several seemingly unrelated people. Since my blog chronicles my daily life and I am gay (hence the stereotype 'sissy'), I decided to call my blog 'Tales of the Sissy'.

GLBT news

Good news! Always great to hear some positive stuff!
I agree, sometimes we, and by we I mean me, focus on the negative, and let the positive go unheralded.

Don't count RI yet. Senate President M. Theresa Paiva-Weed has now registered her opposition to marriage equality not once but twice.
I keep emailing asking what her problem is, she doesn't respond. Next I'll visit her office.
