Fridge notes

Years ago I worked in an office building with a shared fridge in the breakroom. I remember seeing post-it notes on cans of Diet Coke, threatening bodily harm if stolen. But the following are just TOO MUCH! Enjoy...

Crush du Jour: Chris Leabu

  1. Great post! Funny as hell!

We had a guy at my Florida job who secretly stole people's food from the fridge. He got caught. Turns out he was desperately poor, using every penny he made to feed his kids and eating nothing himself. After that, people brought him food all the time.

  3. After reading all the funny notes about food, I'm having an overwhelming desire to lick your crush du jour from head to toe. Thanks.

  4. We used to say we could leave money out in the English workroom and it would be safe but not food!

  5. Funny signs! And thanks for a new guy to crush on. I'd never heard of him before, but will be on the look-out from now on!

  6. SORRY! Forgot to ask how Pouncer is; I watched Beaches on cable not too long ago, and thought of him. Hope all is well.

That's kind of why I like working in a smallish (up to 15) IT shop. It's very egalitarian, and IT people have finely tuned bullshit meters.

Firstly there's the common M&M bowl. Peanut M&M's of course. Whoever takes the last M&M's has to buy a fresh bag.

Then there is always the fact that I'm a fairly adventurous cook. I've had a number of times where people actually wanted to know the recipe for my lunch leftovers.

Leaving notes is just passive-aggressive bullshit.

Too funny... especially the second to last one. I'm Sean and my ex is Peter and his doing things like that is why he's an ex.
