'Tales of the Sissy' is a play on words related to Armistead Maupin's novel 'Tales of the City' which chronicles the daily lives of several seemingly unrelated people. Since my blog chronicles my daily life and I am gay (hence the stereotype 'sissy'), I decided to call my blog 'Tales of the Sissy'.

Happy Thanksgiving
While I am usually optimistic and look forward to the holidays, I am also a fan of Maxine, and had to share these truly funny (though pessimistic) cartoons.

The turkey is in the oven now. The only side dishes that need to be made are the stuffing and the butternut squash, and one desert.
I'm just catching up on blogs and news sites now.
What a kick, she is. And I especially love her because it's my mom's middle name! Keep an eye on thoe giblets!
