Here's what Sozo's Blog had the other day:

It's been a long and difficult road, but Tesla Motors has made it to unveiling No. 2. After a lot of hype and delivery of 250 Tesla Roadsters, the company's Model S has been unveiled. Tesla was incredibly careful about not leaking a lot of information – designing the Model S at a high-security rocket facility helped with that.

With a 300-mile range and 45-minute QuickCharge, the $49,900 Model S can carry five adults and two children in quiet comfort – and you can charge it from any outlet, without ever stopping for gas. World's first mass-produced electric vehicle offers performance, efficiency and unrivaled utility with twice the energy-efficiency of hybrids, making Model S the only car you'll ever need.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9822653.post-73934659824039008722009-03-27T02:14:00.000-04:002009-03-27T02:14:00.000-04:00That does look interesting. I've driven Hondas for a long time.Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15718724697267800263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9822653.post-11081671339755930642009-03-26T18:22:00.000-04:002009-03-26T18:22:00.000-04:00HMMMM i wonder how the package is behind the packa...HMMMM i wonder how the package is behind the package!neulicioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04609385528939299973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9822653.post-9246238467035789062009-03-26T14:56:00.000-04:002009-03-26T14:56:00.000-04:00Hey Jake, you're parroting the corporate energy vi...Hey Jake, you're parroting the corporate energy view.

That said, if those numbers in the article are correct the car will get over 60MPG. That's not bad at all.

Pricing on the car itself is going to be the determining factor.

Yes there are a lot of Priuses out there but not as many as there would be if the car were in the low $20K range.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9822653.post-36740227326119554302009-03-26T13:56:00.000-04:002009-03-26T13:56:00.000-04:00Great technology at work! It is still pretty annoying/hard to get the hydrogen to power the car.

It sounds like this won't need a special charging station, which I find to be the biggest problem with electric cars. Even living in SoCal where there are way more options, charging stations are still pretty scarce.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9822653.post-11428543716897152492009-03-26T13:33:00.000-04:002009-03-26T13:33:00.000-04:00The politicians and environmentalists want you to ...The politicians and environmentalists want you to believe there is no polution from these cars. The fact is they use electricity made with oil or natural gas and will for the foreseeable future. The statements about polution and oil dependency would be true if we expanded our nuclear power generation capabilities to the level safely used by France for many decades.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9822653.post-33770577483612737082009-03-26T11:51:00.000-04:002009-03-26T11:51:00.000-04:00Uh oh. Shame on them.

I've been hearing tons of info about the new Ford hybrid Fusion for 2010 coming out this summer or fall. It's suppose to take the US-made car market by storm.A Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05066992019067893513noreply@blogger.com
